Deirdre Wadding with Fran Greene - Pathway to the Otherworld through Story and Song

Using Ancient Myth and new original music and song...Deirdre and Fran lead you on a magical journey of self exploration connecting to the Spirit of our Ancestors and the Power of the Land... Deirdre is a witch , shaman and professional storyteller who has been working with magic and ritual for over 25 years.. She facilitates the Wexford pagan moot, reads and teaches tarot, works as a shamanic healer and performs and gives workshops on the art of storytelling.. Deirdre's particular focus is the sacred myth and story of our land and the Shamanic exploration of story as a way to connect us with the power of the Land, Deity,and the Ancestors.

Fran is a gifted professional singer songwriter who has recently recorded his first album, 'Trapped Soul'. As a practising pagan and member of a druid grove, magic flows through his musical craft and he instinctively carries the energy of the ancient stories as he accompanies Deirdre's storytelling.

Together Deirdre and Fran formed the Tall Tales Troubadours... a blend of story and song through which they bring their unique interpretation and delivery of the Stories and Myths of our Land to schools and libraries. They are currently planning to record a cd of stories of old, retold and accompanied by music which will include a collection of new songs based on the ancient tales.

Ani Borg - Poi: The Art of Fire Dancing

A fun and active workshop that will teach Poi technique, where possible please bring poi,as it will secure your place in the class, there will be some provided. Spaces in this workshop are very limited so make sure you get there early. Ani has been fire dancing for a number of years throughout Ireland, performing in recent times as a leading member of the troupe, Babylon's Inferno. Their ethos is "we treat our dancing respectfully like a path of magick". Their shows have ranged from music festivals to rituals and music videos. Their workshops too, like the dancing, have taken them nationwide, and are suitable for most age groups.

Cait Brannigan - Samhain Immrama

The journey into Winter is a tale told often, a tale full of shadows, terror, visitations and darkness. It is a tale which weaves a tapestry from the threads of our ancestral memory, our fears and our hopes for a release into a reborn Spring. It is also a tale of our remembrance: a remembrance of the dark womb of Winter that holds and shapes us. Our remembrance of the bleak landscape where we find our nomadic soul wandering, searching like a lone Stag. Together with Cait, shaman, healer, teacher, story weaver, you will take this journey and find the threads, following them on a Samhain wonder-voyage - the Samhain Immrama.

Vinnie Woods - Discovering the Power Within

A challenge to you to put the book down and use your magic. Vinnie is widely experienced in the realms of Magick, with Witchcraft, Reiki, Crystal Magic, Ogam, and Energy work, being foremost amongst the various disciplines he has practiced. He lays down a challenge to all the participants in this workshop to dare to leave the theory behind and practice their magic.

Bev Richardson - The Power of the Spoken Word

Bev is described as a cunning man and oral traditionalist. For as long as he can remember he has been working with the stories and the 'wild magic' of the land. This workshop promises to be an idiosyncratic view of the shadows between worlds (the antidote to religion).

Lydia Gilligan - Samhain Crafts and Wand Making

A lighthearted workshop with Lydia Gilligan. Make your own Wand or Witch bottle in celebration of Samhain. Materials will be provided.
Lydia Gilligan is an Alexandrian Wiccan Priestess living in Dublin. As with the large majority of practising witches, Lydia is pursuing her career as a business professional and has balanced this by developing her healing and psychic skills as a massage therapist and Tarot reader. She has been described as modern, inquisitive and technical on one hand - and intuitive, empathic and spiritual on the other.
